Overview

- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and oversee external audits to maintain financial integrity.
- Optimize ERP systems to enhance reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support organizational growth.
- Support payroll management, cash flow tracking, and accounts receivable processes to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage payroll operations, including compliance with regulatory requirements and contributions.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, controls, and documentation to align with organizational growth.
- Optimize ERP systems and financial processes to improve reporting accuracy and automation.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with strategic business objectives.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning and forecasting to support organizational growth initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in leadership roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing tax filings, including state and sales taxes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to improve processes and communicate effectively across departments.
- Experience in growth-stage technology companies is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site two days per week to support team collaboration and operations.
