Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and ensure the accuracy of complex federal and multistate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and provide expert tax-related advice and solutions.
  • Conduct thorough research on federal, state, and international tax issues to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with partners and teams to develop and execute effective tax planning strategies.
  • Mentor and supervise staff, ensuring their professional development and high-quality performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, with 15 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • Proven ability to research and resolve complex tax issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and supervising professional staff.
