Overview
- Provide exceptional technical support and maintenance for equipment in diverse environments, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to various client locations to perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations on ATMs and POS systems.
- Utilize advanced tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, adapting to flexible schedules including weekends and overtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records for service parts and completed tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform detailed electromechanical repairs on ATMs, including card readers, printers, and device resets.
- Conduct installations and setups of equipment, including cable management and device mounting.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues such as paper jams, card jams, and bill jams promptly.
- Inspect and troubleshoot retail POS equipment, EV chargers, and associated peripherals.
- Plan and prioritize service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Follow established protocols for security and operational procedures during service tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and ensure transparency in service delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and achieve collective service goals.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years preferred for advanced proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces around equipment.
- Proficiency with computer operating systems and smart communication devices.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record per company standards.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories, including during adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug testing as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
