Job Description

Overview

  • Provide exceptional technical support and maintenance for equipment in diverse environments, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to various client locations to perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations on ATMs and POS systems.
  • Utilize advanced tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, adapting to flexible schedules including weekends and overtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records for service parts and completed tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform detailed electromechanical repairs on ATMs, including card readers, printers, and device resets.
  • Conduct installations and setups of equipment, including cable management and device mounting.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues such as paper jams, card jams, and bill jams promptly.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot retail POS equipment, EV chargers, and associated peripherals.
  • Plan and prioritize service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow established protocols for security and operational procedures during service tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and ensure transparency in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and achieve collective service goals.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; 3 years preferred for advanced proficiency.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces around equipment.
  • Proficiency with computer operating systems and smart communication devices.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record per company standards.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territories, including during adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug testing as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
