Overview

  • Lead comprehensive retirement benefits administration, ensuring compliance and enhancing employee satisfaction in a dynamic, forward-thinking organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize benefits delivery and address inquiries effectively.
  • Develop and implement innovative financial wellness initiatives to support employees' retirement planning goals.
  • Analyze benefits utilization trends and provide actionable insights to guide strategic management decisions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through meticulous audits and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer retirement programs, including 401(k) and pension plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate audits and collaborate with actuaries, auditors, and accountants to maintain plan accuracy.
  • Prepare and lead retirement committee meetings, ensuring effective execution of action items.
  • Educate employees on retirement benefits through engaging communication materials and resources.
  • Analyze and reconcile employee and vendor reports, addressing discrepancies and ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Develop detailed reports and recommend enhancements to plan designs and wellness initiatives.
  • Utilize advanced tools to automate processes and improve administrative efficiencies.
  • Support compliance efforts by preparing and submitting required filings and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retirement benefits administration or financial planning.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. retirement plan regulations, including ERISA and IRS guidelines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel; experience with Workday is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated success in automating processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
