Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee accounting and administration for Separately Managed Account (SMA) vehicles.
- Prepare and review financial statements, accounting records, and tax documentation.
- Reconcile month-end NAV reporting and address discrepancies efficiently.
- Coordinate with operations teams to resolve reconciliation breaks and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting and payment processes for fund expense accruals.
- Enhance operational efficiency through the development of internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA certification is preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in fund accounting, particularly with alternative investments.
- Proficiency in general ledger entries, transaction processing, and audit preparation.
- Familiarity with complex financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives.
- Experience with accounting systems like Advent Geneva, Arcesium, and Duco is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Technical proficiency in Excel and adeptness in various accounting systems.
