Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree required, with a focus on health information management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital inpatient coding using ICD-10 standards.
• CCS certification preferred; must obtain certification within one year if not credentialed.
• Proficiency in encoder software and EMR systems essential for effective performance.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology required.
