Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, document, and deliver architectural projects of varying complexity.
  • Develop creative solutions for architectural challenges while adhering to building codes and client standards.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, schedules, and specifications.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the coordination of engineering systems and project documents.
  • Assist in site documentation through physical walkthroughs and contract administration tasks.
  • Support training and development initiatives by undertaking assignments of increasing complexity.
  • Maintain alignment with the client's mission, vision, and values in all professional activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead design and coordination efforts, ensuring integration of architectural and interior detailing.
  • Prepare concept sketches and analyze building codes for project compliance.
  • Develop detailed design documents across all project phases, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering systems.
  • Document and participate in project meetings, providing post-meeting summaries.
  • Conduct site visits for documentation and oversee construction administration tasks.
  • Direct and mentor designers and interns, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited program required.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong design orientation and ability to produce complete construction documents.
  • Competent knowledge of building codes, guidelines, and client facility standards.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in architectural detailing and contract document production.
