- Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens for laboratory analysis, including phlebotomy.
- Accurately input patient information into electronic medical records systems, maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide mentorship to junior medical assistants, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and administrative protocols, maintaining high standards of service.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant designation is advantageous for this role.
- CPR certification is mandatory for patient-facing responsibilities.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with successful language proficiency testing, is preferred.
- Experience in phlebotomy and administering medications and vaccines is beneficial.
- Knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience metrics is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
