Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform reconciliation and invoicing for gas flows related to transportation and storage services with precision.
• Manage ledgers, accounts receivable, and customer balances, ensuring financial integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with pipeline operators to reconcile transported natural gas volumes effectively.
• Address customer inquiries regarding services and invoicing, delivering exceptional support and solutions.
• Conduct SOX control testing and prepare audit documentation to support compliance efforts.
• Develop detailed analyses and reports to assist internal Gas Accounting functions and decision-making processes.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies in all accounting activities.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support seamless accounting operations and audits.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with accounting software is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Experience in the natural gas industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of OnBase and PeopleSoft systems is advantageous for this role.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities are required.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and on-site tasks effectively.
