Overview

  • Lead day shift nursing operations in a dynamic healthcare facility, ensuring exceptional patient care and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee a team of skilled nursing professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth in a supportive environment.
  • Coordinate care plans and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise nursing staff during day shifts, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care activities.
  • Monitor patient care delivery, addressing concerns and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Develop and maintain individualized care plans tailored to patient needs and conditions.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to review performance, provide updates, and deliver training sessions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance patient care services.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to maintain optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance with healthcare standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and current RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or nursing home settings.
  • BLS CPR certification and strong knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage nursing teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with organizational values.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in nursing management roles.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
