Overview

  • Join a prominent financial services firm as a Fund Controller, overseeing fund accounting and reporting for diverse investment structures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and analyze NAV packages prepared by fund administrators, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Calculate management and incentive fees for complex fund structures with precision.
  • Coordinate corporate and regulatory reporting requirements, including SEC filings and board presentations.
  • Manage annual audits and provide essential information for tax preparation processes.
  • Analyze expense allocations and budgets across multiple fund entities.
  • Oversee fund liquidity and coordinate wire transfers related to deal funding and expenses.
  • Mentor junior team members, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives to drive organizational success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public/private accounting; 9 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Experience with closed-end registered investment companies is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with AI, Alteryx, Anaplan, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with keen attention to detail.
