Job Description

Overview

  • Become a vital part of a dynamic investment firm, enhancing client relationships and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop insightful performance reports and marketing materials.
  • Create and distribute periodic factsheets and commentary for diverse investment strategies.
  • Support client servicing by addressing inquiries and preparing detailed presentation materials.
  • Contribute to marketing content and research papers, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing essential insights and materials to the business development team.
  • Maintain and update firm documentation for internal and external use, ensuring consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to produce periodic performance commentary and factsheets.
  • Assist quantitative teams with attribution data and regressions for monthly reporting.
  • Edit and finalize monthly commentary, maintaining marketing materials for investment strategies.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses on portfolio performance and exposure, editing research paper content.
  • Generate content for client communications, including performance summaries and talking points.
  • Respond to client requests regarding performance, positioning, and terms, ensuring timely servicing.
  • Prepare materials for investor presentations and complete detailed questionnaires for prospects.
  • Support client onboarding processes and oversee intra-month and month-end flows.
  • Maintain and update firm documentation, including quarterly snapshots and standard DDQs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment management or related roles; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing marketing materials and client communications.
  • Strong analytical skills for portfolio performance analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with client servicing, including onboarding and responding to inquiries.
  • Ability to prepare detailed questionnaires and presentation materials for investors.
  • Knowledge of hedge fund strategies and investment products is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing diverse responsibilities.
