Overview

  • Lead financial operations for investment funds, ensuring compliance and reporting excellence in a dynamic and impactful environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize financial infrastructure and operational strategies for growth.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and capital management for diverse investment portfolios.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including administrators, auditors, and valuation firms.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes for transactional accounting and financial operations.
  • Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and investor agreements, maintaining high compliance levels.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives driving financial innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinate tax compliance and reporting for all managed entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead year-end audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure precision and compliance.
  • Maintain and refine investor waterfall calculations for accurate distribution tracking.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to align financial forecasts with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor expense allocations and oversee payment processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement scalable financial processes to improve organizational performance and adaptability.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to executives based on comprehensive financial analysis.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; 7 years preferred for senior-level expertise.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and auditing within investment environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex financial operations.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning for investment portfolios.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines and compliance standards.
