Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and driving strategic initiatives for organizational growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to align accounting practices with company objectives and enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance activities at federal, state, and international levels.
  • Mentor and develop accounting leaders to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Leverage technology to improve financial systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Promote organizational readiness for growth and influence at the executive level.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to optimize data quality and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute accounting strategies aligned with company objectives and industry standards.
  • Deliver accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain accounting policies and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Lead financial systems strategy, integrating technology to enhance accounting functions.
  • Ensure robust internal controls and compliance across all accounting activities.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering professional growth and alignment with company goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting or finance experience; 8 years preferred.
  • At least 4 years of management experience, demonstrating leadership and team development skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and UKG systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills and critical thinking abilities required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize internal controls.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP standards and multi-level tax compliance.
  • Hybrid work arrangement requiring three days onsite per week.
