Overview
- Deliver expert care in outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, focusing on rehabilitation and pain management.
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting physical functioning using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and recovery.
- Perform medical procedures such as injections and electrodiagnostic testing for effective treatment.
- Prescribe and monitor orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility and functionality.
- Conduct evaluations to assess progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide counseling to patients and families to support lifestyle adjustments and recovery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Examine patients to determine their rehabilitation and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing individual patient requirements.
- Perform procedures such as joint injections and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain.
- Supervise and collaborate with physical therapists and assistants to ensure quality care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies based on clinical evaluations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate medical decisions.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Board Certification or Eligibility with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient musculoskeletal practice; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in performing injections and prescribing orthotic devices.
- Strong knowledge of physical rehabilitation treatments for various conditions.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with diagnostic tools such as EMG, NCV, X-rays, and MRIs.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team coordination.
