Overview

• Lead and oversee cardiovascular service lines, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational excellence across multiple units.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to foster teamwork and enhance customer satisfaction within the department.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements in all operations.
• Act as a liaison to address patient concerns and promote service excellence.
• Drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide leadership to a dedicated team of professionals across cardiovascular service units.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain high performance and service standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan, direct, and manage cardiovascular services, ensuring 24-hour operational excellence.
• Monitor staff performance and align activities with departmental goals and responsibilities.
• Promote collaboration among physicians and healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.
• Optimize department operations for efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
• Address patient concerns effectively, ensuring satisfaction and quality care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff across multiple cardiovascular units.
• Implement innovative strategies to enhance cardiovascular service delivery and patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure eligibility.
• Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Cath Lab/EP Lab in acute care settings.
• At least 2 years of management experience in cardiovascular services.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple units in cardiovascular service lines.
• Experience with Neuro and IR procedures preferred.
• Strong ability to manage resources and optimize operational efficiency.
