Job Description

Overview

  • Drive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the client’s digital assets and operations.
  • Implement and manage advanced security technologies to mitigate cyber threats effectively.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents to ensure swift resolution.
  • Perform regular security assessments and audits to maintain compliance and resilience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to enhance security measures.
  • Research emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to strengthen defenses.
  • Develop and implement security policies aligned with industry standards.
  • Work remotely with occasional onsite requirements for specific operational needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and optimize security solutions including firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint detection systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal impact.
  • Develop detailed security reports and track performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with incident response teams during critical security events.
  • Configure and audit network and system security settings for optimal protection.
  • Perform malware analysis and research exploit techniques to preempt threats.
  • Enhance security processes to align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of cybersecurity experience, including incident response and forensic analysis.
  • Proficiency in security technologies like Palo Alto firewalls, CyberArk, and SIEM tools.
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and VB.
  • Certifications such as GIAC GSEC, PCNSE, and OSCP are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Availability for emergency calls and occasional travel as required.
