Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

• Provide compassionate care and support to clients in an adult day care setting, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Assist visually impaired adults with daily activities, fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, promoting clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Support clients with mobility, hygiene, and other personal care requirements.
• Ensure adherence to care protocols and procedures, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
• Work consistently Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing reliable and dedicated care.
• Contribute to the overall well-being and independence of visually impaired adults.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Monitor clients’ health and promptly report any changes or concerns to healthcare staff.
• Collaborate with team members to implement effective and individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and clients’ progress.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
• Ensure clients’ safety during activities and transportation, adhering to established protocols.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a caregiving role preferred.
• Strong reliability and commitment to consistent attendance.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with visually impaired adults.
• Ability to follow care protocols and adapt to clients’ individual needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on-site Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
