Overview
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients in an adult day care setting, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Assist visually impaired adults with daily activities, fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment, promoting clients’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Support clients with mobility, hygiene, and other personal care requirements.
- Ensure adherence to care protocols and procedures, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Work consistently Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing reliable and dedicated care.
- Contribute to the overall well-being and independence of visually impaired adults.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and promptly report any changes or concerns to healthcare staff.
- Collaborate with team members to implement effective and individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and clients’ progress.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and team members.
- Ensure clients’ safety during activities and transportation, adhering to established protocols.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a caregiving role preferred.
- Strong reliability and commitment to consistent attendance.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with visually impaired adults.
- Ability to follow care protocols and adapt to clients’ individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work on-site Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
