  • Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to refine valuation methodologies.
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports for presentation to committees and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform valuation model inputs and assumptions.
  • Document valuation procedures and ensure alignment with audit requirements.
  • Perform valuations on diverse securities, including private equity and structured products.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement valuation processes for private instruments and securities.
  • Conduct hands-on valuation calculations for private credit investments.
  • Analyze market data to determine inputs for valuation models and strategies.
  • Document valuation methodologies and conclusions for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Engage with external valuation experts and auditors to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Prepare and present materials for valuation committees and boards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in private security valuations, with a focus on private credit.
  • Proficiency in valuation tools, including Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.
  • Expertise in private credit instruments and structured debt valuation.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and valuation methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to support complex valuations.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
