Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational processes for private debt funds, ensuring compliance and accuracy in cash and liquidity management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance workflows and drive automation for operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a key escalation point, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Coordinate with external loan managers and custodians to maintain seamless transaction execution.
  • Support investment teams during transaction closings through analysis and timely information delivery.
  • Contribute to the production of detailed reports and manage daily operations effectively.
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative team culture within a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage in a role requiring precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure loan allocations comply with established policies and portfolio guidelines.
  • Manage cash-related instructions, including subscriptions, redemptions, FX transactions, and liquidity monitoring.
  • Coordinate transaction execution with external managers, administrators, and custodians.
  • Drive workflow enhancements and automation initiatives to improve operational processes.
  • Provide analytical support during transaction closings and respond to information requests.
  • Assist in generating reports and managing daily operations of the debt platform.
  • Foster team collaboration and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in cash and liquidity management, FX hedging, and capital call processes.
  • Experience in middle office or investment operations within asset management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of private debt asset class and fund accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and influence team members.
