Overview

• Manage corporate actions for fixed income assets, including calls, tenders, exchanges, proxies, and amendments, ensuring accurate processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with legal teams to analyze complex bankruptcy and distressed asset scenarios, providing actionable insights and solutions.
• Utilize custodian platforms for voluntary corporate action elections and data management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Communicate corporate action updates to investment teams, reconciling client positions and maintaining transparency.
• Monitor accruals and entitlements postings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Process information related to class action suits and bankruptcies, maintaining detailed records for reporting purposes.
• Generate internal and external reports on corporate actions, supporting informed decision-making.
• Participate in ad hoc projects to enhance portfolio services operations and drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge in finance or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of experience in fixed income corporate actions preferred, with familiarity in bank loan asset classes advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools is essential for effective operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for managing complex financial scenarios.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with investment and legal teams are required.
• Ability to analyze complex financial scenarios and propose actionable solutions.
