Overview
- Manage and oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to compliance standards.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including Paid Time Off and Leave of Absence, ensuring seamless administration.
- Facilitate onboarding processes, delivering benefits presentations and validating enrollments to enhance new hire experience.
- Generate comprehensive HRIS reports, providing insights into turnover, headcount, and compliance metrics.
- Support employee engagement initiatives through programs like tuition reimbursement and service awards.
- Collaborate in developing and implementing HR policies to optimize organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, maintaining integrity in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Host educational sessions to enhance employee understanding of HR processes and benefits.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Execute payroll calculations and processing, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Review payroll data for accuracy, addressing discrepancies promptly to maintain reliability.
- Administer garnishments, child support, and other deductions in accordance with legal standards.
- Manage benefit enrollments and terminations, ensuring seamless transitions for employees.
- Validate COBRA enrollments and terminations, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare and analyze HRIS reports, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
- Coordinate internal employee transfers and oversee background check processes efficiently.
- Communicate benefits updates and HR initiatives effectively through memos and newsletters.
- Contribute to HR projects by conducting research and analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in payroll administration or HR operations.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records consistently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with employees and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to payroll and benefits administration.
