Overview

  • Drive strategic leadership in nursing operations to ensure exceptional patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.

  • Oversee staffing plans and personnel management to meet patient care needs efficiently.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to enhance nursing care quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and job descriptions for nursing and clinical departments.
  • Prepare budgets and manage resources effectively to support nursing operations.
  • Evaluate staffing needs and implement changes to optimize patient care delivery.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and hospital leadership in strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards across all nursing operations.

  • Monitor patient care processes and outcomes to ensure quality and safety.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in hospital settings.
  • Current RN license and certifications as required by state regulations.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills in clinical environments.
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient surgery settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and performance improvement processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
