Overview
- Provide technical support for cash automation machines, ATMs/ITMs, and related equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Perform installation, repair, upgrade, testing, and maintenance tasks on hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve software and network issues efficiently.
- Travel to customer locations to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Contribute to refining company processes and procedures for enhanced service delivery.
- Document service activities in CRM systems and maintain accurate records.
- Provide professional customer service and technical expertise during interactions.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure high-quality service standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain cash automation and ATM/ITM equipment, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, recommending additional repairs when necessary.
- Load and configure ATM/ITM software, resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors to address software-related challenges effectively.
- Perform network troubleshooting, resolving firewall and connectivity issues.
- Document service activities, including calls, notes, and time logs, in CRM systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area and vehicle.
- Provide end-of-day reports to management, highlighting open issues and required assistance.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Two to four years of related experience; networking certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.
- Competency in basic network troubleshooting, including TCP/UDP ports and SSL certificates.
- Experience with cash automation industry certifications is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems for documentation and reporting.
