Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial planning and analysis operations for a global energy firm, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and support organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process, variance analysis, and forecasting efforts.
  • Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models and reporting tools.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support operational teams with financial insights to optimize project performance.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes and variance reporting.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams for accurate financial reporting.
  • Respond to financial inquiries from banks and research firms.
  • Analyze contracts to forecast business impacts and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct industry and risk analyses for customer evaluations.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and monthly performance tracking against budgets.
  • Support procurement and accounting teams in vendor management and reporting.
  • Enhance capex, cash flow, and liquidity forecasting efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or FP&A.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Oracle or NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the energy or oil & gas industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
