Overview

  • Serve as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) focusing on labor and delivery, providing advanced nursing management and patient care expertise.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and nursing standards within the organization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for obstetrical patients.
  • Mentor and educate nursing staff, promoting professional growth and excellence in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Clinical Nurse Specialist certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical obstetrical nursing experience, preferably 5 years.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Michigan.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to clinical operations.
  • Ability to work in inter-professional teams and demonstrate effective communication skills.
