Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly merchandise financial plans across categories and channels.
- Lead seasonal buy planning and merchandise assortment strategies with cross-functional collaboration.
- Implement demand forecasts and inventory flow strategies to optimize stock levels.
- Monitor in-season performance, analyzing sales, margin, and key KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
- Guide markdown and promotional strategies to enhance profitability and inventory productivity.
- Oversee replenishment strategies and monitor open-to-buy performance by category and channel.
- Partner with stakeholders in Finance, Logistics, and Marketing to ensure coordinated execution of strategies.
- Implement planning best practices, tools, and systems to enhance team effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive planning experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in merchandise planning, retail math, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and ERP/merchandise planning systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data into strategic insights.
- Experience managing planning teams and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of Amazon experience with heavy SKU management expertise.
