Overview

  • Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems to ensure seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic network problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks on client infrastructure.
  • Assist with hardware installations, moves, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP phones from various cloud vendors.
  • Document all work performed in the ticketing system for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Travel extensively to client locations, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common business software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for frequent travel.
  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar.
  • Experience with RMM tools, Active Directory, and remote desktop solutions.
  • Knowledge of backup systems like Acronis, Datto, and Veeam.
