Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic network problems.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks on client infrastructure.
- Assist with hardware installations, moves, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP phones from various cloud vendors.
- Document all work performed in the ticketing system for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Travel extensively to client locations, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or help desk roles; 5 years preferred.
- Proficiency in networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common business software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for frequent travel.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar.
- Experience with RMM tools, Active Directory, and remote desktop solutions.
- Knowledge of backup systems like Acronis, Datto, and Veeam.
