Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Cultivate superior clinical identity through evidence-based practices and quality strategies.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement patient throughput strategies, including capacity planning and admission/discharge coordination.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Lead strategic planning and business development for the emergency services line.
- Collaborate with physicians and administrative teams to enhance service offerings.
- Monitor budget performance and implement actions to address performance gaps.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement and recognition within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of recent acute care emergency services leadership experience.
- Experience managing Level 1 or 2 trauma centers with high patient volumes.
- Active RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive organizational growth.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational efficiency effectively.
