Job Description
Overview
- Coordinate billing and collections processes for legal services, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and revenue realization.
- Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to manage the revenue cycle effectively.
- Handle multiple matters and produce high-quality invoices for assigned billing attorneys.
- Assist in preparing complex charts, graphs, or reports based on client needs.
- Ensure compliance with legal billing standards and firm policies.
- Support follow-up activities to secure outstanding receivables efficiently.
- Work in a hybrid environment with on-site presence required three days per week.
- Contribute to the firm's financial operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft and finalize client invoices for assigned billing attorneys.
- Coordinate with attorneys and secretaries to manage billing processes.
- Prepare and process high-quality invoices in a timely manner.
- Assist or lead revenue realization tasks for billing attorneys.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
- Produce complex charts, graphs, or reports as required.
- Utilize Elite Legal Billing System and ARCS for billing operations.
- Maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for financial tracking and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, IT, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of accounting experience, including law firm billing.
- Proficiency in Elite Legal Billing System and ARCS preferred.
- Experience with e-billing systems is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment effectively.
- Experience in collections within mid-size to large firms is highly valued.
