Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform all modalities of respiratory care, including advanced procedures, for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Conduct cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC systems.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory therapy and equipment usage.
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal care as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Stay updated on advancements in respiratory therapy practices and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Colorado.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Advanced Provider.
- Minimum of 2 years of diverse respiratory therapy experience.
- Preferred: Experience with high-risk deliveries, neonates, and EPIC systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage patient care effectively.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining certifications.
- Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage but not required.
