Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform all modalities of respiratory care, including advanced procedures, for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Conduct cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC systems.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory therapy and equipment usage.
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal care as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to maintain a secure environment.
  • Stay updated on advancements in respiratory therapy practices and technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent education.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Colorado.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Advanced Provider.
  • Minimum of 2 years of diverse respiratory therapy experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with high-risk deliveries, neonates, and EPIC systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage patient care effectively.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintaining certifications.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage but not required.
