Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging to achieve diagnostic quality results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize imaging techniques.
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to uphold imaging standards.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students as required.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist; 2 years preferred.
  • Experience with GE MRI systems and Epic software preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail in imaging procedures.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
