Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging to achieve diagnostic quality results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize imaging techniques.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with regulations.
- Provide compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to uphold imaging standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students as required.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist; 2 years preferred.
- Experience with GE MRI systems and Epic software preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail in imaging procedures.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
