Overview
- Support clients in achieving employment goals within behavioral health recovery frameworks.
- Provide career counseling, job readiness training, and placement support.
- Collaborate with treatment teams and external resources for successful job placement.

- Engage in community outreach to build partnerships and promote vocational services.

- Maintain a caseload of 20 clients per week, focusing on individualized plans.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Assess vocational interests, skills, and barriers to employment for clients.
- Develop tailored employment plans aligned with clients’ career goals and needs.
- Conduct workshops on workplace expectations, communication, and professional behavior.
- Establish relationships with employers to create job opportunities for clients.
- Coordinate job placement efforts with external agencies and training programs.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and employment outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to integrate vocational services.
- Advocate for workplace accommodations to support client success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in vocational counseling or workforce development.
- Preferred certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
- Proficiency in career assessment tools and job coaching strategies.
- Ability to develop individualized employment plans and navigate employment barriers.
- Strong communication and case management skills with a collaborative approach.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral health challenges preferred.
- Multilingual proficiency in Spanish, Bengali, Mandarin, or Cantonese is advantageous.
