Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, providing essential technical support for equipment maintenance and repair across various customer sites.
  • Respond to customer requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on ATMs, POS systems, and other electromechanical devices.
  • Utilize provided tools and repair kits to ensure optimal equipment functionality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work within a team environment, managing service calls and maintaining inventory effectively.
  • Travel within assigned territories to provide prompt and reliable technical support.
  • Engage in diverse work settings, including indoor and outdoor environments, ensuring adaptability and resilience.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction with service delivery and product functionality.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, overtime, and second shifts as required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform maintenance and electromechanical repairs on ATMs, POS systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct installations, including setup, testing, and mounting of devices, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues such as paper, card, and bill jams efficiently.
  • Inspect products for operational accuracy, escalating unresolved issues per procedures.
  • Prioritize and plan service calls to optimize response times and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage service parts inventory effectively.
  • Communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times and service updates.
  • Follow established protocols for key, alarm, and combination control processes.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required for this entry-level position.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3 years preferred in a technical field.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record within company standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in close quarters around equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and consumer communication devices.
  • Willingness to travel to assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather.
  • Capability to pass background and drug testing requirements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.
