Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain disclosure checklists for SEC reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to address new or unusual transactions effectively.
- Assist in preparing statutory financial statements, aligning with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Facilitate interactions with external auditors, providing necessary support and documentation.
- Ensure SOX compliance within financial reporting processes, enhancing transparency and accountability.
- Contribute to the development of financial reporting strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Support the transition to clean energy through accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably including Big 4 audit and advisory roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial disclosure requirements.
- Experience with Lease Accounting, Debt Accounting, and Revenue Recognition is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with tax, legal, and business teams.
