Overview

  • Deliver exceptional nutritional care to residents, ensuring compliance with health standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement personalized dietary plans.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans tailored to their health goals.
  • Monitor residents' progress and adjust dietary plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care solutions.
  • Educate residents and staff on dietary management techniques and nutritional health.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with organizational standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in therapeutic nutrition within institutional settings.
  • Experience in nursing home or long-term care facilities is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in documentation procedures within long-term care environments.
  • Strong knowledge of state health codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work on-site during designated hours as required.
