Job Description

Overview

  • Join a leading investment firm as a Fund Accounting Associate, contributing to accurate financial operations and reporting.
  • Play a pivotal role in fund closings, NAV calculations, and investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly fund closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls for funds.
  • Prepare and review partners’ capital statements and fund distributions.
  • Ensure precise fund expense reviews and coordinate payment processes.
  • Calculate and analyze monthly investor returns and NAV estimates.
  • Prepare and review financial statements adhering to GAAP standards.
  • Participate in special financial projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting within financial services.
  • CPA certification preferred; experience with private credit, equity, or hedge funds advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
  • Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial operations.
