Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee monthly and quarterly fund closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Calculate and review management and incentive fee waterfalls for funds.
- Prepare and review partners’ capital statements and fund distributions.
- Ensure precise fund expense reviews and coordinate payment processes.
- Calculate and analyze monthly investor returns and NAV estimates.
- Prepare and review financial statements adhering to GAAP standards.
- Participate in special financial projects and ad hoc reporting initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting or public accounting within financial services.
- CPA certification preferred; experience with private credit, equity, or hedge funds advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively.
