Overview

  • Manage tenant improvement projects for light industrial spaces, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver customized construction solutions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project schedules and resolve operational challenges.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient management.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and updates for stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Utilize advanced construction management software for effective project tracking and documentation.
  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving approaches.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, execute, and oversee tenant improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor construction progress, addressing delays and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, resolving conflicts and ensuring timely delivery of services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools for effective project oversight.
  • Strong understanding of tenant improvement projects and light industrial construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
