Project Manager – Ground-Up Multifamily Construction

Overview

• Drive the successful execution of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
• Oversee ground-up construction processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide leadership to on-site teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining productivity.
• Utilize advanced construction management software to streamline operations and reporting.
• Monitor project progress, proactively addressing issues and ensuring seamless execution.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and compliance reports.
• Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and oversee detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of multifamily construction initiatives.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing cost efficiency and quality.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and present comprehensive progress reports to management and clients.
• Resolve on-site conflicts and challenges to maintain project momentum and quality.
• Implement innovative solutions and strategies to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management for multifamily construction; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of ground-up construction processes and multifamily building standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work on-site and oversee construction activities directly.
