Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, configure, and maintain network connectivity across datacenters, offices, and external partners.
• Implement and manage network appliances, with a focus on Palo Alto firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Document network configurations and changes to maintain operational clarity.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce controls and enhance network safety.
• Provide on-call support and participate in rotation schedules to address critical needs.
• Assist in deploying VPN solutions, including IPSec and TLS-based systems.
• Support overlapping responsibilities between network and security teams for seamless operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and associated technologies.
• Knowledge of VPN technologies, including Global Protect and Prisma.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver high-quality solutions.
