Overview

  • Deliver exceptional primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, ensuring patient-centric outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Utilize advanced electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and communication.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to enhance healthcare accessibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments adhering to established medical guidelines.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and coordinate referrals for specialized care.
  • Analyze patient data, including lab results and diagnostic imaging, for timely follow-up care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care plans.
  • Participate in infection control initiatives and promote compliance among staff.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of clinical protocols and practices.
  • Lead medical decision-making processes to optimize patient outcomes and care delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York State medical license and DEA certification.
  • Board eligible or certified; certification required within 18 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and computer applications.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and organizational objectives.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including rotational on-call duties.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Experience in primary care settings preferred, but not mandatory.
