Job Description

Overview

  • Deliver exceptional primary care services, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care to ensure optimal patient health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations, to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in alignment with established medical guidelines and patient needs.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Document patient interactions and care plans meticulously in electronic health records.
  • Participate in infection control measures and ensure adherence to safety protocols within the healthcare setting.
  • Assist in the development and updating of clinical protocols to reflect current best practices.
  • Provide on-call support and participate in weekend rotations as part of the care team.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care and team efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York State medical license and DEA certification.
  • Board eligible or certified in relevant specialty, certification required within 18 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.
  • Effective leadership and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Flexibility to participate in rotating on-call schedules and weekend duties.
