Overview

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to transform complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and deliver scalable, impactful solutions.
  • Enhance data models and calculations to improve performance and usability across reporting processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of BI tools and reports.
  • Contribute to the organization's analytics ecosystem by implementing best practices and mentoring team members.
  • Ensure data governance and quality standards are upheld in all reporting activities.
  • Support data maintenance applications using low-code technologies like Power Apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data visualization and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and manage BI presentation layers for consistent and accurate organizational reporting.
  • Develop and optimize Power BI data models, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Streamline datasets and calculations to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain complex dashboards and reports tailored to organizational needs.
  • Implement and enforce policies for data governance and quality assurance.
  • Provide training to users on BI tools and functionalities to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
  • Mentor team members and promote the adoption of BI best practices throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with international resources to ensure seamless project management and execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development and dashboard maintenance.
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL; experience with Snowflake is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with ETL technologies and low-code applications like Power Apps.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in buy-side firms and credit expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with international resources.
