Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with federal standards and delivering exceptional results on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration and maintaining clear communication throughout project phases.
  • Supervise on-site teams, promoting adherence to safety protocols and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement detailed project schedules, optimizing resource allocation for maximum productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with USACE/NAVFAC guidelines and EM385 safety standards across all project stages.
  • Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth among team members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing delays or issues proactively to maintain timelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards and enforce safety protocols effectively.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to meet federal compliance requirements.
  • Train and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align site activities with overall project objectives and goals.
  • Manage site logistics, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and smooth operations throughout the project.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in USACE/NAVFAC guidelines and EM385 safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams and deliver projects successfully.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience with federal construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in all project phases.
