Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the Legal and Compliance team's efforts in corporate governance and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Enhance entity management systems to ensure accurate and streamlined record-keeping processes.
  • Assist in transaction closings, including preparation and review of essential documentation.
  • Conduct due diligence and respond to KYC/AML requests from counterparties and service providers.
  • Ensure marketing materials comply with applicable laws and regulations through detailed reviews.
  • Coordinate regulatory filings and contribute to the development of compliance policies.
  • Provide support for legal requests related to NDAs, vendor agreements, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior legal staff to address complex compliance and legal matters effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate formation, organization, and administration of corporate entities and governing documents.
  • Maintain and enhance entity management systems to ensure efficient record-keeping practices.
  • Support transaction closings by preparing and reviewing necessary documentation.
  • Conduct AML/KYC checks and risk assessments for counterparties and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance of marketing materials with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
  • Provide legal support for NDAs, vendor agreements, and compliance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address organizational needs effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic credentials.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a corporate law firm or legal/compliance department.
  • Experience with AML/KYC processes and entity management preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently as a self-starter.
  • Proficiency in legal and compliance processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory filings and compliance policy development.
