Overview

  • Supervise field operations within a licensed home care agency, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate healthcare delivery and administrative tasks to maintain seamless service provision and compliance.
  • Provide professional oversight, training, and competency evaluations for paraprofessional staff, fostering skill enhancement and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care strategies and address individual healthcare needs.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, agency policies, and industry standards in all operations.
  • Engage with clients and families to deliver personalized healthcare solutions and support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate paraprofessional staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.

Job Requirements

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, demonstrating professional qualifications.
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Nursing or a related field, ensuring foundational knowledge.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with preference for four years in home care settings.
  • Strong understanding of professional and paraprofessional healthcare practices and standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, families, and staff.
  • Proficiency in medication calculations and healthcare documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and apply healthcare safety rules and procedures effectively.
