Overview

  • Lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional pediatric inpatient care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety standards.
  • Oversee clinical operations, implementing evidence-based practices to enhance care delivery and team performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for patient-centered care and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate quality, safety, and compliance within the pediatric inpatient unit.
  • Ensure effective resource management, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to support seamless clinical operations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and professional growth among nursing staff through mentorship and development programs.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the pediatric inpatient unit.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active Registered Nurse License required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in pediatric inpatient care and clinical operations.
  • Preferred 6 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic Life Support certification required; additional certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in healthcare information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong skills in team leadership, resource management, and operational planning.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Ability to drive quality improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative work environment.
