Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential on-site IT support to ensure seamless operations and address technical issues promptly.
  • Act as the primary contact for IT requests, delivering effective solutions and exceptional service.
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve system security and functionality concerns efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade server operating systems while managing virtual environments effectively.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address hardware and software issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards in IT system management.
  • Support usability across desktop computers, mobile devices, telephony systems, and networking equipment.
  • Contribute to the implementation of IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Resolve service tickets and troubleshoot technical emergencies with precision and minimal oversight.
  • Assist clients in system design, installation, configuration, and usability improvements.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on technical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose, repair, and debug complex technical systems and software issues effectively.
  • Ensure network closets are organized, labeled, and documented accurately for optimal functionality.
  • Participate in project planning and mentor team members on improved IT processes.
  • Adhere to safety standards and proactively address health and quality requirements.
  • Manage spare parts inventories and maintain precise records of time and expenses.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in a technology-related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Preferred certifications include Network+, Server+, or equivalent credentials.
  • Proficiency in Windows servers, Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, and Exchange Servers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, Citrix, VPN, Terminal Services, and VoIP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build positive client relationships.
  • Effective communication skills and aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within the designated area.
