Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in all client interactions, addressing IT support needs effectively and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist clients with system design, installation, and configuration to enhance usability and performance.
- Perform advanced malware and ransomware mediation tasks to ensure system security and reliability.
- Install and manage Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and virtual environments for optimal functionality.
- Ensure proper server room cable management and resolve backup-related issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to established processes and policies for consistency.
- Support team members through mentoring and technical guidance to foster professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent practical experience in IT support roles.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems engineering roles.
- Preferred certifications include Network+, Server+, Windows Server 70-410, or equivalent credentials.
- Proficiency in Windows servers, Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, and Exchange Servers.
- Knowledge of VMware, Citrix, VPN, and Terminal Services is highly desirable for the role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively and professionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with adaptability in high-pressure situations.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation for client site visits as required.
