Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review engagement work papers and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supervise and mentor staff on tax preparation processes and related professional development.
- Research complex tax matters and provide clear, actionable recommendations to clients.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service quality.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including billing and fee analysis.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to expanding client services and offerings.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members to foster professional growth and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality control measures, and firm policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master of Tax preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of tax experience in public accounting or related field.
- CPA license required; J.D., LL.M, or EA certification accepted.
- Proficiency in S-Corp, Partnership, High Net Worth individual, C-Corp, and Trust taxation.
- Experience supervising and training staff and senior accountants effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet challenging client requirements.
